We aim for a world where business is grounded in its connection with nature and naturally nature positive and life-affirming. For business to fulfill that role we need to re-purpose, re-nature and re-imagine business as we know it. This is done by impact ventures and investors that are challenging the status quo by deploying new business models and creating new markets, by corporates through product innovation and supply chain and stakeholder collaboration, and government and stakeholder coalitions by guiding industry transitions. Aligning Inner & Outer Nature
We believe impact emerges from alignment of inner nature (our inner self) and outer nature (the organisation and system we are part of). We therefore work at each of these three levels through leadership development, venture building and transition management. Our logo is inspired by tree rings - the core (inner) from which the tree (organisation) started, now embedded in consecutive growth rings and connected to its surroundings (system) on the outside. The tree's growth rings are defined both by the strength of the core and earlier growth, as well as the quality of the connection with the surrounding system. The system in turn is shaped by the growth of the tree.
About the founder
Hi! I am Emiel van Sambeek. My purpose is to reconnect business with nature. That involves working at three levels. First, personal direction and leadership. Second, organisational development and innovation. And third, system level interventions. I founded Rebusiness.earth to combine these three approaches in one platform.
Before founding Rebusiness.earth I worked for over 20 years in new business development, venture building, market entry strategies, fundraising, policy development, stakeholder process facilitation, and mentoring and coaching in energy and sustainability transitions across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.

Trained as a biologist and environmental scientist I bring a systems approach to analysing and understanding sustainability and organisational challenges. As an entrepreneur I adopt a lean approach to developing business and ventures. I enjoy dealing with complex and uncertain situations, engaging stakeholders, exploring and charting new pathways, and empowering teams in taking concrete steps to achieve regenerative outcomes.
